Marist 7, Greenbrier 1: The visiting War Eagles took a 4-0 first-half lead behind two goals each by Mary Beth Bleekrode and Frances Monardo. Bleekrode would finish with three, while Marie Athaide and Stephanie Krouskos also scored.
McIntosh 7, Heritage-Conyers 1: The host Lady Chiefs jumped out to a 3-0 half-time lead thanks to goals from Amanda Bartholomew, Jackie Gray and Cecily Hartman. Gabby Seiler added an assist and a pair of goals in the second half.
Union Grove 4, Richmond Hill 1: Union Grove scored three times in the gameas first 25 minutes and held Richmond Hill at armas length. Ashley Nagy had a goal and an assist for the visiting Wolverines. Sarah Goolsby scored the Wildcatsa only goal.
Whitewater 7, Chattahoochee 0: The visiting Wildcats were led by Savannah Jordanas hat trick and received two goals each from Teegan VanGunst and Brook Colangelo. Goalie Christa Strickland kept a clean sheet with three saves.

Top-ranked Whitewater captured the region title and No. 1 seed for the state playoffs with a 2-0 victory over No. 2 McIntosh on Tuesday in the Region 3-AAAA championship game. Teegan Van Gunst and Brook Colangelo scored second-half goals for the Wildcats, according to the Fayette Citizen. It was the second victory of the year for Whitewater against its Fayette County rival. The defending state champion Pope boys won the Region 5-AAAA tournament, while the Greyhounds made it sweep by taking the girls title. They will meet teams from Region 6 in the first round of the state playoffs.
The Pope boys beat Kell 3-0 in the region final. Austin Bates, Kyle Hartfield and Dominis Allan swept through the singles matches, leaving the two doubles matches unfinished. The boys beat North Paulding and Osborne to reach the final.
The Pope girls also beat Kell 3-0 in the finale. Kristen Jones, Madison Utberg and Katie Story won their singles matches. Neither of the doubles matches were completed. Pope beat North Paulding and East Paulding to reach the championship round.
The other boys teams that qualified from Region 5 are Sprayberry and North Paulding, while North Paulding and Douglas County were the other two girls teams that qualified. . . .
