McIntosh 7, Heritage-Conyers 1: The host Lady Chiefs jumped out to a 3-0 half-time lead thanks to goals from Amanda Bartholomew, Jackie Gray and Cecily Hartman. Gabby Seiler added an assist and a pair of goals in the second half.

The defending state champion Pope boys won the Region 5-AAAA tournament, while the Greyhounds made it sweep by taking the girls title. They will meet teams from Region 6 in the first round of the state playoffs.

The Pope boys beat Kell 3-0 in the region final. Austin Bates, Kyle Hartfield and Dominis Allan swept through the singles matches, leaving the two doubles matches unfinished. The boys beat North Paulding and Osborne to reach the final.
